Paradise Pines Cabin is found on the scenic Bass Lake, located only minutes from Interlochen Arts Center & Traverse City. The cabin sits on an acre of beautifully treed, lakefront property. The cabin offers majestic views of the lake throughout. The downstairs living room, dining area and sunroom open onto a large outdoor deck overlooking the lake. Also found downstairs is a large kitchen fully appointed with glassware, dishes, and appliances, a laundry room with full-size washer & dryer, a bath with a tub/shower and the master bedroom, complete with a king-sized bed and large walk-in closet. Upstairs you will find a second bedroom with a queen sized bed, bathroom with tub/shower and large loft area/TV room with a twin daybed/trundle and a queen-sized convertible sofa. The home has 4 TV’s, 2 DVD players and Wi-Fi throughout. The beautiful backyard has a large grass area leading down to a sandy beach and boat dock.
The 100-acre lake is a perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, skiing, and tubing in the summer. We have an aluminum fishing boat with a small motor and 2 kayaks. The area boasts over 20 golf courses, and loads of beautiful scenic trails for biking & hiking. Winter activities include ice fishing, ice-skating, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. Downhill skiing & snowboarding at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort can be found only16 miles away, offering 52 groomed slopes.
There are tons of wonderful places to see and things to do close by; Betsie River, Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Sutton’s Bay, Leeland’s Historic Fish Town, Grand Traverse Bay and numerous wineries, micro-breweries, award winning restaurants, concert halls, and Leelanau Sands Casino are all within a short distance from Bass Lake.

Summary: Easy to work with, very nice property with excellent views, property has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Washer and dryer on site was huge when staying for a week. Would definitely stay again!! Also…. Got married while we stayed, so it turned into a nice honeymoon site!!!

Summary: Cabin is even prettier than pictured. Furniture is comfortable and well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Washer and dryer are new and large capacity. Loved the sunroom for morning coffee and devotions. The separation of bedrooms and bathrooms on the upper and lower floors was perfect for 2 couples, allowing privacy for all. Kitchen also has lots of staples (in cabinets and fridge) on hand, so no need to buy oils, baking supplies, condiments. Linens are of good quality. The outdoor space on the lake was beautiful and peaceful. Large lot provides privacy. Didn’t use the boat, as water level in lake was low. Had a couple of questions and tried to reach local property manager, but received no response. However, the owners (who were out of the country at the time) replied promptly. Location seems remote, but cabin is with 30-45 min drive to Traverse City, Fish Town, and other scenic drives. Would definitely return.

Summary: This property is by far the best VRBO in which we've stayed. Reasonably priced, it is very upscale (especially for a lake getaway home) and features many decorator details and comforts of home. Bathrooms and kitchen have all the equipment and supplies everyone needs. There is outdoor stuff galore; we should have stayed longer because we couldn't get to it all! Comfy beds, well-supplued

Summary: Everything about Paradise Pines is cozy & comfortable. It truly doesn't feel like a rental when you walk in, it feels like a home. The perfect location for day trips all around northern MI and so many things to enjoy if staying on property. LOVE it here!!

Summary: We stayed for a month at this beautiful cottage, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Molly is an amazing host. She does everything to make it an enjoyable experience from easy check in, to stocking the kitchen and house with necessities and more. Interlochen was the perfect central location, Bass Lake was peaceful and scenic and the cottage was charming. The only problem was that our vacation had to end. We can’t wait to return!!

Summary: This home was beautiful and a fun vacation for all ages. The children enjoyed the beach, paddleboat, swings, and toys that were available for them to use. Molly, our hostess, was a great communicator and the house had everything you need to enjoy a family vacation incl. a very nice kitchen with all the pots/pans/dishes and utensils. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
